8月8日美股盘前，半导体巨头英伟达预披露了一份远不及预期的财报。有媒体形容这份财报是“雪崩”，为什么这么说呢？根据公告，英伟达第二财季的营收预期为67亿美元，要知道，在今年5月，公司还给出了81亿美元的业绩指引。
短短两个多月时间，指引就大幅证伪了。这说明美国乃至全球宏观经济的下滑程度，远超企业管理层预期。
英伟达表示，业绩大幅下滑的主要原因是游戏业务收入大幅放缓，在公司判断宏观条件对销售侧的影响将持续后，与合作伙伴采取了调整渠道价格和库存的策略。
说直白一点，就是产品降价促销了。有分析人士认为，这将对公司利润率造成影响，进而对公司股价形成压制。
英伟达是全球半导体行业最引人关注的公司之一。受益于半导体供应短缺以及在人工智能等领域的前瞻布局，英伟达市值在去年11月一度突破8600亿美元。不过，随着美国资本市场遭遇加息等一连串冲击，如今英伟达市值已经不足4500亿美元。

英伟达二季度游戏产品收入大幅下降
Nvidia‘s Gaming Revenue Fell Sharply in the Second Quarter
英伟达8月8日公布的截至2022年7月31日的第二季度的初步财务业绩显示，公司二季度营收为67亿美元，低于此前市场预期的81亿美元。
Nvidia‘s preliminary financial results for the second quarter ended July 31， 2022， released on August 8， showed second-quarter revenue of $6.7 billion， below market expectations of $8.1 billion．
该公司还预计，第二季度游戏收入环比下降44%，同比下降33%。
The company also expects game revenue to fall 44% sequentially and 33% from the prior year in the second quarter．
英伟达表示，销售缺口“主要归因于游戏产品销量下降，反映出宏观经济不利因素导致渠道合作伙伴销量减少。”
Nvidia said the shortfall is “primarily attributable to lower sell-in of Gaming products reflecting a reduction in channel partner sales likely due to macroeconomic headwinds．”
软银集团2022财年一季度出现单季最大净亏损
SoftBank Suffered Its Biggest Quarterly Net Loss in FY2022 Q1
8月8日，软银集团发布2022财年第一季度业绩报告显示，公司净亏损3.16万亿日元（约234亿美元），这是有史以来最大的季度亏损，去年同期的利润为7615亿日元。
On August 8， SoftBank Group reported a net loss of 3.16 trillion Japanese yen （about $23.4 billion） for the first quarter of fiscal 2022， its biggest quarterly loss ever， compared with a profit of 761.5 billion yen in the same period last year．
财报还显示，2022财年第一季度，软银投资亏损2.83万亿日元，愿景基金的投资损失为2.91万亿日元。
The results also showed that SoftBank‘s investment lost 2.83 trillion yen in the first quarter， while the Vision Fund investment lost 2.91 trillion yen．
软银表示，其投资组合中很多公司的股价都出现了下跌，“这主要是由于通胀和利率上升引发的对经济衰退的担忧加剧，导致全球股价下跌。”
SoftBank said it saw a decline in the share prices of a wide range of its portfolio companies， which was “mainly caused by the global downward trend in share prices due to growing concerns over economic recession driven by inflation and rising interest rates．”
软银周一还宣布，公司已经出售其在几家公司的股份，包括网约车公司优步（Uber）和线上房地产公司Opendoor。通过这些交易，该公司已筹集资金56亿美元。
The Japanese giant has turned to selling its stakes in companies to raise money． SoftBank announced on Monday that it had sold its stakes in a handful of companies， including ride-hailing firm Uber and online real estate company Opendoor． SoftBank raised $5.6 billion from these sales．
